Legendary Florida death metallers OBITUARY have announced the routing for their upcoming North American tour, which is scheduled to kick off early September. The dates are as follows (venue details to follow):

OBITUARY last week posted the cover artwork for its upcoming album, "Xecutioner's Return", at this location. The band once again worked with artist Andreas Marshall, who has previously created the art for "The End Complete" and the group's most recent record, "Frozen in Time".

"Xecutioner's Return" was mixed at Redroom Recorders and was mastered last Friday (June 15) at Morrisound Studios in Tampa. An August 28 release via Candlelight Records is expected.

As previously reported, fan-filmed video footage of legendary death metallers OBITUARY performing at the VI Extreme Metal Fest on June 9, 2007 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil has been posted at YouTube (all video clips shot by Leonardo M Fonseca):
